After a gruelling initial three kilometres, it was in the final four laps where the 32-year-old surged past Noah Bögli to claim the victory in the Individual Pursuit. The result is the latest addition to Imhof’s impressive palmares, marking his fourth national championship title in this discipline.

In a nail-biting finale to the Men’s Elimination in London at last year’s UCI Track Champions League, the Swiss rider claimed the coveted blue jersey after level-pegging on points with star Spanish rider Sebastián Mora.
